UK Guides, Rainbows & Brownies

I've been illustrating badge designs for the Brownies, Girl Guides and Rainbow Guides for a couple of years now.
I've put dozens of designs together for the three groups, including 'Holidays', 'Sleepover', 'Friends', 'Around The World', plus many more...
The 'fun badges' are available on the Girl Guiding website at www.girlguiding.org.uk Other projects have included vector illustrations of the groups logos/branding.

Cadbury's Creme Eggs

I worked with Chris Bardsley of AMV BBDO to storyboard and develop the 'How Do You Eat Yours?' Cadbury's Creme Eggs animated television commercial.

Monkey Kingdom - Katy Perry TV Project

I created a retro style cartoon poster for the Katy Perry TV project, featuring the singer as a cartoon character. Monkey Kingdom are the production company behind, amongst other things, The Charlotte Church Show..

The Sea LIfe Centre

I designed a collection of characters for the Sea Life Centre, for use on a range of merchandise including stationary and keyrings. I produced a shark design, and several fish to be re-produced on the merchandise. Several items are now available from Sea Life Centre gift shops across the country.

National Trust For Scotland

I've worked on a couple of projects for The National Trust For Scotland including a set of animal character designs (stag, squirrel, highland cow & puffin) to be re-produced as a set of acrylic keyrings, currently avalable at most National Trust For Scotland venues. Nestle/Rowntrees Commercials

I worked with Chris Bardsley of AMV BBDO to storyboard and develop television commercials for the launch of Giant Smarties, and on the Fruit Pastil lolly advertisement featuring Antoine de Caune of Eurotrash.

For the past year I've been working with the BooYippee.com founders to re-design and develop the video network. Elements have included a full website design, flash media players and advert designs, plus advertising and promotional illustration.

For the past couple of years I've been working with the greetings card website, on hundreds of card designs, company ident development including character & mascot design and various web elements. Other projects have included flash animated banners and adverts for use on the web.

Pinestein Press

I have a children's book published through Pinestein Press called 'Mini Mysteries & Kooky Spookies'. The book contains a collection of short stories by 4 authors. I wrote three stories featuring 'Ralphie The International Super Detective' and produced twelve black & white illustrations, and a colour sleeve illustration. Mini Mysteries & Kooky Spookies is available from several book stores as well as WHSmith online, and Amazon.

Lady Waisted is a custom, designer corset company. I have worked on dozens of projects for them over the last three years including a full e-commerce website design, advertising illustrations & flash design. I continue to design and produce all of their promotional material and develop their web presence.

Jam Cats

The US based music school for Kids contacted me in 2008 to develop a character/mascot illustration that could be use to represent the company. The character was designed to appeal to children and adults alike, to promote the business in the best possible way. More from Jam Cats coming soon.....

Scrapmagasinet

The stamp company asked me to produce a couple of pin-up girl character illustrations to be reproduced as ink stamps. The stamps are now available through their website online.

Calvin Innes - UK Based Freelance Illustrator, Cartoonist & Artist

Calvin Innes has been creating illustrations and animations for people and business' across the world for over half a decade. His cartoons have been used in books, magazines and on websites as well as across a range of merchandise, for the Sea Life Center, The Brownies, Girl Guides, Rainbow Guides, Mungogram, National Trust For Scotland, My Little Big Town, to name a few... As well as producing a large collection of commercial illustrations Calvin is a published children's illustrator and author.

Calvin writes and illustrates two regular web-comics 'The League Of Really Bad Superheroes' and 'Cat On The Moon', in association with My Little Big Town Comics. Along side his career as a freelance illustrator, Calvin is the co-founder of media design company GizMedia, the company behind the popular blog network Pijoo.Com.
